We are starting a miniseries (o pwede ring “here-series”, jk!) about Christology. Sino nga ba talaga si Jesus Christ? Is the historical Jesus, the nazarean carpenter executed by Roman authorities at the behest of the Jewish religious elites, the same person as the Christ of the Faith, the Son of God professed by Christians? To answer this, we will be dividing this miniseries into 5 episodes:
1. Introduction to Christology
2. The Paschal Mystery
3. The Messianic claim
4. The Christological dogmas and heresies
5. Jesus the Saviour
And, dito sa ating first episode of this miniseries, we will be introducing what Christology is, why is it important as faith seeking understanding, the difference between “low Christology” o “from below” at “high Christology” o “from above”.

For the whole miniseries, we recommend the reading of Joseph Ratzinger’s (Benedict XVI) Jesus of Nazaret trilogy and the Dominus Iesus document of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith.
