Usapang Love: What does it mean to be in love? (Plato, Schopenhauer, Abelard and Hëloise, and CS Lewis)

by admin | Nov 26, 2025 | Podcast Episodes

“What is love?… I wanna know,” yan ang sikat na kanta ng TWICE (best girls, I tell you!). Pero, ano nga ba talaga ang love? Madaling sabihin, mahirap unawain. Minsan nga iba-iba pa pagkaunawa natin eh. Kaya in this episode sasamahan tayo ng mga...

Saint Catherine of Alexandria: Philosopher, Mystic, and Martyr

by Lennon Caranzo | Nov 25, 2025 | Philosophy, Religion

A few days ago, we celebrated World Philosophy Day (4th Thursday of November), a celebration mandated by the UN. Back in university, this was a big day for us philosophy majors. I often wondered why we celebrated it in November (though I’m not complaining, since it’s...

Understanding Christ’s Kingship: Mercy Over Power

by Ann Mare Pantig | Nov 23, 2025 | Religion

If there’s one Gospel that redefines what “kingship” looks like, it’s today’s reading. For the Solemnity of Christ the King, the Church gives us Luke 23:35–43. Not a scene of glory, but of a bruised and silent Jesus hanging on the Cross. And yet, sa mismong...

A Theological Dialogue with Erri de Luca: Prayer, Alterity, and Forgiveness

by Lennon Caranzo | Nov 22, 2025 | Literature

I came across Erri de Luca’s Nocciolo d’oliva (Edizione Messaggero Padova, 2002) in my Fundamental Theology class in my first year (way back in 2021). Our professor discussed this book in its Spanish translation, Hueso de aceituna (Sígueme, 2021) and I wrote this...

by admin | Nov 19, 2025 | Podcast Episodes, Season 3

Sabi ni Albert Camus, ang suicide daw ang foremost philosophical question. In this episode, this sad but true experience of many ang ating topic, pero ang discussion natin ay through the lens of philosophy. From Camus who said that life is absurd, but we should...
